Annual pass after returning

Hi,
We have only just returned from Orlando not expecting to be able to return until 2019 however due to finding reward flights for Ł240 each we are returning in may next year 😃😃😃
If we'd have know when we were there I'd have changed our tickets to annual passes. Has anyone ever managed to do this after they have returned? Or is it too late now

Its too late. You need to upgrade in person at WDW and before your ticket has expired. You cannot do it by phone or online.

I've emailed them as we've only been back less than 2 weeks so I thought it was worth a try. What the worse they can say?

Yes we did but it was a no unfortunately. It's a shame we didn't know we could go back earlier but I'm not complaining 😃
