Hoping to be on the go early, fingers crossed that we are going the opposite way from everyone else on the bus will help. It opens at 9 so hoping to be away from Mk about 7.30/45 ish. Do you think this is mad? I’m hoping with the new Hs entrance that’s different for cars and buses that the bus will be better than an Uber?

I’m going to attempt my first ever full trip report after we get back. I’ll definately be doing a live Ish food report though with lots of non food report related comments. 😂

DS lost his lanyard one year just coming up to Christmas. On Christmas morning I was up early and the rest of the family were getting ready, so I decided to pop up to the Lost&Found near the TTC to see if there was any joy. Normally this is a 10m spin from the BC.

Once I got onto World Drive it was pretty obvious I was going nowhere

By the time I managed to turn around and go back it was over an 1hr to get back. In fairness I was going the direction of MK so hitting the worst of the traffic, but wow was it bad.

We are going to wdw this christmas. we have 3 fastpasses booked for magic kingdom on christmas day and lunch in the liberty tree tavern.
We plan to head to magic kingdom for opening we are staying on site. is this a feasible plan and just get the bus to the park?
we will be fairly easy going and probably just dander about in between our fast passes and nothing overly planned. we went to wdw 5 years ago for christmas but spent actual christmas day in universal instead so want to do disney this time hopefully it all works out we are staying in the disney sports resort

We now tend to go to MK on Christmas Eve and stay until the park closes, so technically you are there on Christmas Day as well (just about) . We then have a leisurely morning, open presents, play mini golf and go for an ice cream on the Boardwalk or from Beaches n Cream. At night we go to a restaurant like CG or Citricos, this year we are booked for Shulas.
In previous years we have been to AK and MK but have been early and left in the afternoon.

I've no experience yet but I'd go for it. Many people are expecting the MK hours to change to a 7am EMH opening so as long as you are happy getting on the go super early. From the research I've done not having huge expectations of doing rides seems to favoured.

Might see you at the gates at 6.45am then

We stayed onsite, so hopped on the monorail to Epcot and had an amazing day there. It is a big park so plenty of space to take the crowds - it didn’t feel any busier than summer! We had lunch at Le Cellier and headed back to the hotel for a relax on the afternoon. We did do MK but it wasn’t until the evening/later evening - we couldn’t not do MK on Christmas Day. Christmas has been our favourite trip yet, and we can’t wait to go back at some point in the future 🙂
