Update on the new alcohol drink on the ddp

Ok folks, I've just received my personal message from my cast member friend, who is currently working at AKL..You can order any spirit, beer, glass of wine, and, wait for it, any cocktails including the famous Lapu at the Poly..The only thing you can't get are the flights, or a full bottle of wine..I think our Ohana ADR has just got better..

Really looking forward to this addition to the dining plan, think it will be great! Always felt weird having a soft drink with a nice meal (especially when at a signature) so I am really looking forward to being able to have a nice cocktail and OH is looking forward to a nice beer! We probably won't drink every night but will be nice to have the choice!

Totally agree..We are not ones for drinking alcohol during the day, too much fun to be enjoyed, but we do like a glass of wine with a table service meal, but my wife and I enjoy the odd cocktail and the Lapu at the Poly was outstanding..

Thanks Coda, that is good news 😀. Do you know what non-alcohlic upgrades there are? Mocktails, milkshakes, hot choc? My DD, who is a non-drinking 18 year old, is hoping for some nice drinks too as she doesn't like fizzy drinks

Accoring to disboards
"So we had an ADR at Splitsville tonight. We arrived & let the server know we had Deluxe dining. He informed us that we could have any beverage priced $16 or less but this did NOT include any souvenir cups. "

So perhaps the rules are not same in every TS

also reports from same
1. Alcohol is included in the Fantasmic Dinner Pkg
2. Lapu Lapu at Ohana is included but in a large glass instead of the pineapple.

Edited at 12:22 PM.

Slightly off-topic sorry, but Fantasmic dinner package, am I right in thinking this is now mains and dessert? It did include starter, I believe, but not from 2018. I guess this is a measure to even out the included drink cost. Not that I could eat all 3 courses anyway 😀
