Our least favourites were Sci-Fi Dine In, Biergartan (although the atmosphere was good), Yak and Yeti (food was ok but we were frozen), 1900 Park Fare (relies on the setting and experience but food not brilliant) and Trails End. Everybody is different though and others may love these.

Thanks a mill. Yes am always wary of that - theming over food. Sometimes you have to suck it up for the kids lol. But as they get older you can move away from it a bit.

Mine think Rainforest in Paris is the best restaurant ever. ... Food was BRUTAL!

Looking at Yak and Yeti alright and also T- Rex in DS.

As a solo visitor not driving for health reasons it's the DDP for me.

Well when the Dining Plan is free I don't see how you can go wrong. I definitely wouldn't have paid for it.

This is exactly what we've done twice . The signature restaurants are a really good standard. This and using quick service credits in exchange for snack credits in Epcot.

What service credits do you exchange for snack credits in Epcot ? I feel we could make better use of our snack credits in Epcot next time

We have 6 nights DDP followed by 11 offsite. Works well for us as we use the TS for character breakfasts and this year have Homecomin and yachtsman which were looking forward to. After the 6 nights I am sick of eating and the offsite dining options are perfect and pretty cheap. We also end up with loads if snack credits left but the kids love spending them in Disney springs the day we checkout

As I said, it works well for some but not for others. Would be very boring if we were all the same.

When we went in 2015 it was one counter service credit for three snack credits. I believe it's remained the same.
It was fantastic for the food and wine festival as we enjoyed a couple of afternoons snacking (and drinking) in the world showcase.

We have 7 nights onsite and 7 days off- I think after 7 days at Disney with the DDP I will be done with eating lots! It's our first time with the DDP but I'm planning to use up our snack credits on drinks rather than have loads of them left. I know its not the best value but it does use them!
