Any divorces over packing?
So I've just gone through my wardrobe and I want to take everything. Hubby thinks I'm being ridiculous, can I divorce him and have his luggage weight allowance?
Just kidding, how do you ladies choose what to pack? I'm very self conscious and have no idea what will feel comfortable in. Don't know how bloated I'm going to be in the heat and with the food they have out there. Help me please 😊

hahaha I tend to take clothes that are not restricting cause like you said the heat makes me fell bloated so I stick with loose tops and shorts or vest tops I take a dress or 2 also for the evenings if we are going to a nice restaurant and don't forget if you are flying with virgin you can also go online and book an extra case good look and enjoy your holiday

Lay down all the clothes you want to take in piles. Tops, shorts etc etc. Then put half of them back. You'll take loads and never use most of them and waste time working out what to wear.
Next year, I'm taking a ruck sack. |

A few attempted murders, not divorced him. Yet...
Don't over think it. I took some shorts (as they're what I find comfortable here) and then a top for each day. What would you be comfortable wearing here on a hot day? That's what you need to pack. Another way to do it, is to get out what you want to take and then put half of it back (unless you've only one bikini, in which case take both parts ) |

I always take far too much, then vow not to the next time and still do.
Rather than just take everything, think what you are actually likely to wear of a day and then of an evening. Also if you have laundry facilities you may want to wash and rewear favourite outfits.

Great advice thank you all, I don't have many clothes in all fairness I could probably fit all my clothes in 2 medium suitcases. Obviously I won't be taking my winter wardrobe so maybe what's left would fit in 1 case. I have shorts (cotton and denim) a few dresses long and short, 2 swimsuits (obviously underwear too) and lots of tshirts/vest tops.
None of my clothes really have a lot of give in them so I'm really hoping I don't swell too badly. I'll look like the auntie of Harry Potter 😳

Packing on the way, I'm good at, don't bring much. Packing coming home is another story, dh always moans about how much we have bought & our cases will be overweight/won't fit everything etc etc. We always manage though

For florida I only ever take shorts and t shirts, if they fit me and are comfortable then I Pack them. I don't own enough shorts and holiday t shirts to overpack. Now the kids clothes is a different story, I always take too much for them and can't get my head round the fact they're now teenagers and not going to get their dinner down them 😊.
