Veterans Day Thursday 11th November

I know it has an impact on the parks but how much of an impact and does it last right through the whole weekend. Silly question I know sorry.

It is normally very busy in magic kingdom and Epcot due to food and wine . Each year around this period just gets busier though as many want the Halloween Christmas experience and this day falls within in . Who knows with Covid what the future parks will look like once international travel opens up , they are rammed now .

We scheduled our 2 night stay at Universal for 10/11 Nov so we would have early entry and front of line passes, to avoid the crowds.

Ha! The place was a ghost town! Even though there was a special veterans’ parade in Universal Studios, it was empty.

I gather MK was rammed though. And Seaworld/Busch Gardens give free entry to veterans that day. So maybe it was just Universal that was quiet.

Also check when the Food & Wine half marathon weekend is, and avoid Epcot that day.

We spent Veterans Day in MK when we went as it’s my sons birthday, it was noticeably busier but manageable if you plan right. The only crazy part was the evening, we’d booked the HEA dessert party but couldn’t get from the dessert seating area to the roped off viewing area because it was so busy, we had to basically push our way through it took nearly half an hour. The cast member with his paddle supposedly leading the way was long gone, it was every man for himself!
