Crowd level at Volcano Bay at the moment?
As the title suggests, how are the crowd levels during the week at Volcano Bay at the moment? Trying to decide if it's worth driving up from OKW to do it on a free morning we have in two weeks or just head to Aquatica instead.
The wife and I have done Aquatica multiple times but not Volcano Bay yet. Which of the two have the better splash areas for a 9 month old? |

Hi,
We are at VB today & its very quiet - we had early entry with the hotel stay but no need today really. To give you an idea the aqua coaster has been 15 mins max wait time. I think it’s because of the weather, it’s cloudy & a bit windy. |

Was there last week for the first time and was bowled over by it.
We had a cabana but there were so few people in the park with loads of empty spaces. Nearly everything was walk on apart from Krakatoa - the 4 person canoe type thing. That reached a Tapu wait time of 45 minutes. Krakatoa is now officially my favourite ride in Florida. Can't remember laughing so much. Very impressed by the cabana btw. We usually get one at Aquatica but this knocks spots off.

Promising stuff, hopefully it's similarly quiet in the May off-season...

Really tempted to go for when it opens on the 25th then. Having watched all the construction it'd be a shame to miss it for another visit to Aquatica - a park I also love!
Just not enough days! |

We went on Columbus Day expecting carnage but instead it was exceptionally quiet as the other posters have said. It went from been our least fav park to one of our best days this holiday. Can not recommend it highly enough!
