Never works on app but if you go on the desktop version you should be fine as I just booked mine the other day.

I am on the desktop - it lets me go through the whole process and then when I click confirm - it thinks about it for a while and then says something went wrong.

I have just tried to call them and as soon as I select the option on the phone it cuts me off - what am I doing wrong

I had some problems booking the droid experience, it seems to be same type of booking process. The issue I found was when I pages down to the reservation contact it had pre-populated with a dummy phone number in the wrong format. Once I corrected the phone number the booking went through.
