I don’t know where the paper receipt has gone but I’ve got the photo on my phone. Fingers crossed the price doesn’t go up again! This time I’ll be buying her a normal ticket rather than part of a package so hopefully that will help.

Upgraded from 14 day ticket to Platinum pass today at Disney Springs ticket centre.
Got the right price first time. The guy was knowledgeable. As soon as I spoke to him I said I understood there were different ways of doing it, that gets you more money and I needed to just get the best price. I mentioned bridging.

He said no problem. He said the credit the ‘standard’ way was 400 and something dollars but did something and got it up into the $500s.
So it worked out at 363 each to the Platinum which is what I was expecting best case.
Receipt attached.
I need Platinum for next year’s Xmas trip (we go to 22/12 next year), otherwise I’d have gone gold.

Edited at 09:42 PM.

Well done, glad it was hassle-free too, I was getting stressed before I went but luckily mine was easy too, though if I hadn't shown the photo off here maybe not so!

Has anyone upgraded this year and what did it cost as I have 14 day pass and now wish to upgrade to DVC gold annual pass and
is it still best to go to Disney Springs to do this.
Thanks

The ticket cost of a gold is $711 and some odd change. I was changing a different ticket than the 14 day but it was basically parity with ticket cost so circa $400.

They gave me around $550 (? Not sure of exact amount) for my 14 day by bridging it at Disney Springs. You won't however get it for $150 now, that was the old price.
