I too use last year's dates to work out this year's. Looking at the dates you should just sneek in there on the first night.

Obviously this is not official but I can't see much changing... unless they start in August this year!

Our last day is sat 3rd sep 2022. I looked at the dates for 2021 and they started on Fri 2nd sep. If similar dates then we might just make it for our last night.

We are staying at universal HRH for last couple of nights. Do you have to purchase separate express passes for the HHN or will your hotel express passes be enough?
No, the HHN express passes are separate from the normal day express passes and aren't included with the resorts.

The 2021 dates were announced in March with tickets going on sale in June. This was a little later than in previous years though.

Horror nights is a separate ticketed event, you’ll need a ticket for the events then an additional express pass if you want that was well. The first weekend is often pretty busy while locals check it out.
Thanks. I know it's a separate ticketed event but was just hoping that the express pass for the hotel covered the express part.. Wishful thinking!

Fingers crossed we might just catch it this year.

How close to the event do they normally announce the dates?

🤞 We just sneak in. I have been looking at a VIP type tour. If it does open on the 2nd we might have to look at the RIP tour

RIP tour is so worth it. You literally get taken to the front of the que. And we always use the buffet before it starts as our tea!

I second this. Over the years the price of this has probably trebled but if you can afford it, do it. Well worth it.

They are priced around the date, mid-week and quiter nights are cheaper, the busier and friday night/weekends will be more expensive.

Express passes started at $89.99 and go up to $189.99

RIP tour (non private), start at $299.99, not sure how much it goes up to, but again it's priced depending on date and availability.

So who's planning to go this year? All being well!

We are and can't wait. We were in the permanent horror gift store in IoA in December and chatting to the staff they are keeping everything cross for the best HHN ever.

Loved their Christmas Tree
