We have had 2 Panasonic ones in the last 16 years. The first lasted 12 years so we bought the identical model again.
All digital, no grill or oven functions just a micro. Cost about £115 I think

We’ve also got a Panasonic and it’s 11 years old.I’m actually waiting for it to die so I can get a flatbed one.I will probably go for another Panasonic as well.

I would never buy one with a turntable now - flatbeds tend to cook so much more evenly and, of course, you an get larger dishes in them eg reheating a large rectangle casserole dish dish with food in one part - no matter it goes in and cooks evenly and switches off before it burns. Different technology but I am a convert

Just another shout out for Panasonic - ours is 25 years old and still going strong.

Interesting enough, our first ever microwave in the 1980s was a Phillips flatbed one

That was the first one my parents first had, but think it was about 35 years ago. DH and I have been married 32 years and mum had hers before we were married 😊

Oh dear showing my age! 😂😂😂
