Travel insurance with covid cover

Are staysure only ones that cover covid? We dont go until next August but was just checking prices, family of 3 is just under £200 single trip

As things open up then I’m sure that the other travel insurance companies will release their own specific cover.

I’m waiting to see what else comes on the market before buying. My risk is minimal - a deposit left over from last year - so holding out for a cheaper policy is something I’m happy to do.

I have used cover for you for my trip to Cyprus in July.They include COVID cover,probably won’t end up going but took out insurance when we booked just in case.

Just did a quote on staysure, but the max holiday value doesn't cover what we would need...(normally I'd just gamble on the additional cost that's not covered, but feel a bit like it's too high a risk at the moment!) Has anyone got any others that they would suggest that maybe have a higher coverage. It's a bit of a minefield this travel insurance stuff!

We've used Staysure for years mainly because of our PEMCs. I assume it's clear that the cancellation cover is per person not the whole party? Our cancellation cover is £5,000 per person with them.

PS We've had three holidays cancelled due to Covid and haven't lost a penny nor made a single insurance claim. All flights, airport parking and airport hotels refunded in full. Car hire just rolled over with Andy at DFCH (there's no better car broker ) and villa just rolled over.

I suppose the main reason we have insurance is medical costs and losses over there.
