Day 18: Fallen in love with Edinburgh!

Ahh I thought so - it took so much longer than it should have done! We didn’t see Greyfriar’s Bobby - no idea how we managed to miss that, shame as kids would have liked to see it. Oh well, more reasons to go back and spend more time
Totally loved Edinburgh- it was a massive highlight for me what a fab place to call your home town!

You definitely walked the wrong way up to the Castle! Did you see Greyfriars Bobby and visit the grave? Visitors lay sticks for the dog by the graveside. It’s at the end of Chambers Street (where museum is).

Have just returned from a 5 day break in Edinburgh. It’s a fantastic city, if a bit hilly in parts.! How wonderful to live there.

Edinburgh is a wonderful city I feel lucky to have visited many times I probably take it for granted so it’s lovely to read your excitement at experiencing it for the first time.
