They certainly weren’t in economy on my flight on 10th January but others have said they got them
So I think it’s a hit or miss
Definitely had them in PE in November and BC coming home December

Yes, they were in with the paper change collection envelope a few days ago.
Very basic but did the job.

This question came up recently and the answer was overwhelmingly yes, so think Helen was just unlucky.

I didn't use them but yes, had them in the envelope both ways. I always keep a set of earbuds in my tech bag just in case though.

You can get a transmitter to use wireless ones onboard.

Got mine from Amazon a couple of years ago and it worked fine.

I much prefer using my own headphones onboard. Dh just treated me to some Bose noise cancelling ones so I’ll be using those with the transmitter so that I don’t need to use a cable.

We got them in December, they were inside the small envelope that is used for the collection for charity during the flight.

We had ours in November, can't remember about the return flight in December.

Like most things with BA its a complete lottery. Just be thankful you'll get a seatbelt is the business model approach

Yes
They are in the paper charity envelope for any loose change you have on both our flights which was on top of blanket/ pillow on the plane seat
I didn’t realise this initially until my son showed me
