DVD's and video tapes
Hi All,
Having a clear out and we have boxes of the kids dvd's and video's in the loft which need to go, has anyone used Musicmagpie to sell anything to? Thanks Sue.

We’ve used music magpie and ziffit in the past both were good, we found one paid better than the other for certain discs so it’s worth checking both.

I use them every time I have a clear out, always had great service. The rates you get now are pretty terrible though, usually pennies per title. There's just not enough demand for them since streaming took off. But since none of my local charity shops are accepting donations at the moment, it's easier for me to ship off to them so not too concerned about getting much. It's mostly just to get it out of the house.

My Son got rid of about 40 DVD's last week. Music Magpie paid him £8.19p!
I then took another 20+ that nobody wanted to Barnardos Charity Shop.

I've just put a couple of codes into the Ziffit on their website and money was offered but when I scan these on the app it says it doesn't want them?

dont expect to get much for most of them, unless they are rare disney titles or something a bit sought after. my mate got mostly between 10p and 50 for most of his collection last year when he moved house. a few things (like box sets, especially out of print stuff that isnt on netflix/etc for "free" (rather than renting for £30 a season or whatever) - he got £5-15 quid for some of the things he sent...
maybe a car boot would be better? |

If you have any VHS videos (big box ones from the video shops) let me know and I’ll pay you more than music Maguire and the likes
