Alamo insiders car hire!

Hi I hope someone can tell me something. I joined Alamo Insiders so clicked in, put in my dates and got a good price in Dollars for my rental period. I have noticed it doesn't seem to have any sort of insurance. If you go on other Alamo Brits it has CDW and personal liability which is Alamos Fully Inclusive insurance, but this doesnt any ideas? xxx Thanks

I think US travellers within their own country use their own car insurance liability. They would offer you CDW when you go to pick up the car.
Your uk insurance would not suffice.
However their are uk insurance brokers who will insure you at a cost.
You would need to check with alamo if they would accept this.

I see they have CDW as an extra, but the price nearly doubles! Confusing. I think i better stick to Alamo Brits I think that has every thing we need. And still a good price 40 days rental fullsize for £790.

I pulled out my insiders card when we collected the car last year, and got upgraded another group from full size to premium FOC, the car hire was booked through the package deal we got with flights and house
