Disney non expiry tickets

Asking silly question. What are these? Are they different to 5/7/14 day hoppers?

Back in the day, when you bought a Hopper, you could pay extra to add "non-expiry", initially it was cheap but as they gradually increased the price to silly amounts it was no longer cost effective & Disney eventually phased them out. The good thing apart from generally having days left over, was that you weren't restricted to 14 days or 21 days & in our case it meant that every other holiday we could buy a pass with less days on it.
For those that still have them just be aware that the way the system is set up, they will use these passes first, unless you speak to Guest Services. We have finally used all of ours but the 1 day was used on our first day even though we were on the Free Dining package & had 14 day Ultimates.
