How often do Universal have an offer on the annual passes where you get extra months?

I know they have/have had an offer on for 3 extra months but the annual passes need to be activated by a certain date in April.

Do you think they will have this offer on again anytime again?

It tends to pop up twice a year, but I don't really know how consistent that is.

This is the first time I've benefitted from my AP renewal getting an extra 3 months. I've been renewing in October for many years now.

Purchased after the 4th of Oct I think but read people who upgraded before that date also got the upgrade. I heard it was to make sure your pass does not lapse while disney open star wars land to meep the foot fall.

So does this mean that when we come to renew ours in January we will get 3 extra months?
