ATD= Attraction Tickets Direct. Hard to say, up until last year you had to buy direct from Disney but shortly after Disney released their tickets, sellers like ATD were doing them for £47- which was a massive saving on Direct. Party uptake last year was poor, for Disney, they routinely sell out every Oct date, every year but this only happened a few times last year. The "internet" reason for this was twofold:
1. $100+ was too high a price point 2. $100+ was too high for guests to pay & find the park rammed! Our experience over the last 2-3 visits to the Party, is that you near enough have to decide on 1 of 2-3 plans as the days of doing everything in those 5-6 hours are long gone. So: Do all the rides. Meet all the characters. see all the shows. Advice used to be that the park got noticeably quieter after the first parade but these days, who is going to pay $100 for 2-3 hours & a bag of sweets! Certainly our parties have stayed busy until closing. SD

FG yes, you get your band & bag on entry, you are then directed up behind main street. You can also get FP+ on your party ticket up until 6pm

We’re still in two minds. We’re going in August so a bit weird to be thinking Halloween but my little ones loved trick or treating last year but for£60/64 ticket is it worth it?

we did it last year in august with a 7 year old and a 4 year old...we absolutely loved it. parade was awesome, as was the castle show with the Sanderson sisters from Hocus Pocus..we didn’t even meet any characters, just enjoyed the rides and the atmosphere was brilliant...it’s the Disney difference for me. Special memory maker photos with the dancing ghosts, smoke and lights creating a spooky atmosphere at Haunted Mansion, liberty square and Tom sawyer island. The kids loved dressing up and trick or treating too..,We got in at 4pm ish and staying til about 11.30. even with 14 day disney tickets I would definitely do it again..

Thanks everyone, you all persuaded me. I just bought 2 tickets for 25 October direct with Disney and have linked them to MDE. So excited now to be going. It worked out around £10 cheaper than ATD with the exchange rate so I've convinced myself I bagged a bargain 😁

Just booked ours for the 23rd Oct, couldn't justify £95/each for the 28th so we will now do Hoop Dee Doo once we leave MK on our last day

I booked ours as well for the 17th August get our Disney fix that way as we were not doing Disney this year, then we caved and bought 14 day Disney tickets as well, so turned out expensive Halloween tickets
