Toy Story Land - Thoughts?

So another expansion of our beloved WDW has happened and as we know this is the first of many new experiences that will open in the next few years.

Now dont get me wrong, as i was super excited when Pandora opened in AK and could not wait to ride FOP, but TSL to me, looks like Honey I shrunk the Kids with a coaster and food.

Slinky looks tame and whilst well themed is built to a standard model, the likes of which are repeated in many theme parks the world over.

My conclusion is, that whilst TSL will be somewhere I will visit, it is not somewhere I would immediately gravitate too (unlike Pandora).

Dont beat me up, but do others have the same feelings or otherwise?

The thoughts of anyone that has been would be interesting.

I’m looking forward to seeing it but I think it’s a filler until Galaxy’s Edge is finished.

This is how I feel. I watched Tim Trackers video earlier and it looks pretty at night with all the lights and the rides look fun but not somewhere I’ll spend a lot of time.

I think it looks good. It’s aimed st the little ones and there are lots of little ones at Disney so I think that’s fair enough.

I wasn't over bothered by it at first, but having watched the videos and seen the pictures, especially at night, I'm really looking forward to seeing it! From what I've seen the attention to detail is brilliant, and I know my kids will be in love with it. Toy story is from their era of Disney films and they loved them as kids so I can't wait to spend time their with them. Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to Fop, but the whole Avatar thing is lost on us as a family! I think its great to have so many options across the parks 😄

It does look fun and great for kids, but no way would I queue longer than 30 minutes for a kiddie ride when they are plenty of other kiddie rides my kids enjoy. We have been to the one at Disneyland Paris though, and my kids were happy just looking around. (Though sure WDW will be better)

We are very excited to go but we have a 6 year who has loved Toy Story over the years. The new rides are also perfect for her (she hated FOP) so personally I can't wait to go!

However, I am a bit disappointed in the menu at the new restaurant, would definitely have preferred a new table service with some Toy Story characters but we will just eat elsewhere.

Honey I Shrunk the Kids was awesome. I'm assuming they don't have a play area in TSL as cool as that?!?
