Economy seats sold out on my flight

Our flight to Tampa on Sunday 25/11/18 has completely sold out of economy seats (BA2167), which surprises me as I wouldn't have thought it was a particularly popular to time to go (am I perhaps naive)?

Just a wild guess - there are cruises which start from Tampa. Could it be that there is a block booking for one of them.

I notice it is a 4 class plane they are using and they have a lot less seats in economy. I wouldn't be surprised if a few people get complimentary upgrades on the day as WT+ also looks busy.

Hiya MH, we fly from Man... our first PE flight in Nov 2012 was half full, thereafter PE and UC have always been full. We anticipate our Man to Atl flight being full in PE on Saturday, the Delta, Atl to RSW has been fully booked for weeks, but then it is snowbird season in SW Fl.

We are flying to Tampa on BA2167 too but on Fri 23/11/18 and according to the seating plan hardly any of the seats have been pre-booked. Flying to Miami last Nov on Aer Lingus the plane was half empty going and coming back .

But for you flight they are still selling economy seats in most fare buckets as it is a refurbished plane and has twice as many seats in economy (252 economy seats on Fri but only 127 on Sat Sun and Mon!)

Thanks all, I thought it was a class 3 plane because the club cabin going is bigger than the club cabin coming back (on the 11/12/18).

Even when we've been in August I've never seen all economy seats sold out, but I didn't realise that BA would stop selling seats but the bucket shops could still sell them.

Wow I am amazed that some planes only have half the amount of economy seats.
