Lost car key

Really stressful first day my head is mashed and we have lost our Alamo car key. oH has gone to look for it round Coronado springs 😢

Anyone know the procedure? How much does it cost to replace? Do I have to go and pick it up?

There is a label on my keys saying that it costs on average $225 to replace keys.
I usually go to Loews or any other place with wire cutters and cut the keys off the day after we arrive. I then put the keys on own key rings and DW places one key in her bag. As long as they get the keys back at the end of the hire they are not bothered. I can give you the numbers to phone if you need them.

Sorry to hear that , it's such a nightmare. Thank goodness for Kipling bags with key holders or I might well be in the same boat.
Didn't know it was OK to split them so might be doing that in future.
