Tell me about Dinosaur, please

Returning next year and I�d like to know more about Dinosaur. Oldest DD did it when she was 5 - she had a bit of a fear of dark/loud etc, but 2 CMs told her it was fine, just a bumpy ride. I looked after DD2 who was napping in a buggy and XH went on the ride. It traumatised her and we struggled to get her onto �dark� rides again that holiday. To this day, I don�t know what it�s like and thought the experts on the dibb could tell me!

My DW hates roller coasters Goofys Barnstormer is too traumatic for her, but she adores this ride! I love rides up to Everest on the 'scary scale', but there's something about Dinosaur I feel uncomfortable with. So it's a tricky question to answer... it is jolty, with dark area and flashes and bangs and one or two close encounters with big Dino's. Really difficult question to answer for me, sorry!

I don't think it's scary but it is very dark and jerky - my back got quite badly jarred on it.

It�s like a jeep kind of ride. I have to say dd commented this year it seems more bumpy than usual. It is very dark and bumps around finding dinosaurs. Then there is a �drop� at the end.
It�s not really scary but I�m not a child it�s just dark and bumpy.

We went recently and my DDs 10 loved it. But they wouldn�t have coped on our last trip age 6. It�s fun but quite intense. I enjoyed it, more of a thrill ride than I expected.

I have to agree, it was a lot more �jerky� this year!

It�s pretty tame but jerky and dark. All mine have been on it from around 4 years old and enjoyed it.

It�s quite weird, as I am a total ride wimp, but this ride I find has no scare value at all. Imo it�s like a bumpy ride like Kilimanjaro Safaris (albeit much shorter) in the dark. My kids have been riding since very young and have never been afraid of it, but they both hate Haunted Mansion!

It�s a ride you spend most of the time in the dark with dinosaur noises and the occasional dinosaur and you get bumped around a lot
