Thank you Royal Mail and those delivering

Wanted to say very happy with Royal Mail . Son in Australia got his Christmas present in time . Couldn’t be happier with the service . Would like to thank all those that have had the task of delivering all those parcels and working flat out in difficult and hard times . Much appreciated ..

Had great service from all of the delivery services this year, better than ever.

Couple of items cook a couple of days longer than normal, but not an issue at all.

They have done really well this year given the demand right throughout the year.

Hope all delivery peeps get some time off with family and stay safe over Christmas.

Well said Tinks2014 - I know some people may have had less than satisfactory experiences but my postman is an absolute treasure. He is always so careful (even more so in 2020), really sensible and always cheery.

up until yesterday I was happy with Royal mail. They lost one parcel on me 2 months or so ago, but the compensation claim and compensation was sorted within a week, which I was surprised at.

Unfortunately this week it[s a different story. Sent a parcel of gifts to England on Monday, special delivery guaranteed 1pm next day. It should have arrived yesterday, phoned the family today and they had nothing, checked the tracking and it was out for delivery. As of now it's still being delivered today
I'll be on the phone 1st thing in the morning to find out where the parcel is as I'm not impressed at all. Almost £500 of gifts in there that was supposed to arrived yesterday.

I understand totally that they are under pressure, but they really shouldn't be advertising and selling a service that they can't provide. Especially when they guarantee it.

On another note I managed to get my own postman this morning to give him his card with a small tip in for him.. He has been outstanding throughout this whole pandemic and been so understanding knowing we're a shielding household.

Managed to get the Amazon and Hermes delivery lady and man last week as they've been very regular and friendly too.

100%.

Without this industry we would be stuffed.

Guy 2 doors away has upgraded his car to a buy an additional full sized van, built a bar in his back garden and has told me he's never had a better year cash wise. He's worked hard and deserves his success, good on him.
