It wasn’t closed in 2009 when we stayed there and the weather was cold.

We stayed the first week in January for the marathon weekend and it was chilly then and the pools were open.

I don't think they ever close them.

In February last year we were at the Grand Floridian for dinner on a day that was seriously freezing after a week of beautifully hot weather.

It was so cold, and forecast to be in advance, that they announced that Blizzard Beach was going to be closed in advance. Again, earlier in the same week it was perfect water park weather and we'd spent a few great days there.

Anyway, on this night at the GF where everyone was wrapped up as warmly as they could be, the pool was still open and a few hardy souls were using it.

I was over there last year (the same time as Bozza by the sound of it) and stayed at the Beach Club. Stormalong Bay was open everyday, even the day that they closed Blizzard Beach. On that day my kids were in the pool enjoying themselves with some other similarly nuts kids!

I was there Xmas 2019 and whilst it was mainly warm (but often cloudy and raining- was unseasonably wet) Xmas Eve was about 65 degrees and drizzling and it was definitely open then as I was in the hot tub and there was hardly anyone around the pool. Xmas day was lovely, high 70s and sunny.
