Saratoga sells over 19000 direct points last month.

Not since 2012 have they sold so many SSR points direct.

Must be the refurb.

Prices seem to be shooting up for DVC resale at the moment as well.

Yes, the asking prices seem really high at the moment! We had an offer accepted a few weeks ago, at a lower price than now looks viable, so I’m really not very hopeful that we’ll pass ROFR based on asking prices I’ve seen lately :-(

Right of first refusal is where Disney have first right to buy at the price offered. This is good as along with ever increasing cash prices it keeps the DVC timeshares high value for when you sell.

If they did take it, it doesn’t cost you anything. Just go again.

The last SSR contract I bought, I had 2 taken before it was third time lucky. The other two resale I bought passed first time.

If you look on the ROFR thread on the ‘other board’ you can get a good idea at the price when Disney take them although sometimes they’ll randomly take one higher priced and let a lower priced pass.

The more demand for sold out resorts there is direct with Disney, theoretically the more likely they are to take contracts as they need the points to sell on to waiting direct customers.

Glad we bought our resale contract last year!
