Miami... People Mover

Anyone used the People Mover in Miami before?

We have booked the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Miami for 1 night before our cruise. Looking at the TA reviews it seems the People Mover is adjacent to the hotel and can take you to the Port?

Hi

yes people mover in Miami as it is free and it quite good.

We booked south Miami after the Key West and we used people mover.

You mean cruise port? it passed Basketball Ground and I think you have to walk along to Cruise Port.

it take you to Hard Rock, great shopping at Brickell City Centre area. Perhaps you ask the Hotel for map and they will give you the details.

Would guess its a couple miles from nearest station to the port.

We stayed near the Freedom Tower station and you could see the ships from the hotel, taxi cost about ten dollars to the port.

We’ve used the Metro Mover, it’s a great service, however for the port I would be more inclined to use an Uber.

We are looking at staying at the Hyatt Regency before a cruise next year! Haven’t read anything about the people mover so will have to go and google it now 😉

I used it a couple of years ago, easy enough but for the port I would as previously said go with an Uber instead of trekking your luggage around.
