Show us your Christmas tree/s 2020

So it's that time of year again. We're even earlier this year but we wanted to get organised and dd15 didn't want to wait till after her mocks. So the main decorations are up! Will add the door wreath and lights outside closer to December. Look forward to seeing everyone's trees in the run up to Xmas. Hopefully cheer everyone up after a rubbish year! Now sitting down to our first Xmas film Nativity.😀🎅🎄

Absolutely lovely!
I also noticed your shutter blind which I love. I am currently trying to order online but not sure / concerned about ordering rather than someone coming out and measuring & fitting (but that would cost too much)

We had shutters fitted by a local company on our patio doors and a small window years ago. We then got some from blinds direct in our bedrooms and the downstairs ones are from 247blinds. My husband measured and fitted them. I'm sure your DH will be able to measure and fit.

Beautiful I can’t wait to get mine up
Some might be interested to join us on the seasonal craft and decor social group as we are all now in full Christmas mode sharing easy and cheap decor crafts and decorating
Might just give all some ideas to do with all generations over the next few weeks and you might even discover a hidden talent
Remember in crafting and decorating there are no mistakes just unique creations

We have a problem this year , that I have only just appreciated 😪.

The tree sits in the conservatory and thrives in the cold. Under normal circumstances it lasts well until we start using it more in March time , when it’s getting a bit warmer but it still needs topping up with heaters

Unfortunately now my son is basically working in the conservatory on his college stuff ( only has real lessons once a week ) so the room is used and the heater is on a lot . It’s not going to survive.

I think I need to sort a desk out in his bedroom but to be fair the conservatory is a great light room to work in with a big table so I don’t think he will go for it

Forget the ‘ no family on Christmas day’ challenge - this is the big issue that Covid has brought 😪

I saw some diddy ones (about 2 feet) in the Range today, potted ones. I bought one last year but it was a four footer and shaped beautifully but they had trimmed off the new growth and this year during the summer it just looked brown where the new growth had been taken off. Still got it on the back garden now,
