I’m waiting for a hamper to arrive for my in-laws, going to drop it off at the door with presents on the 23rd If it arrives. I keep tidying up and thinking what’s the point, if the hamper doesn’t come I’m rushing to M&S tomorrow to make my own. I suppose it gives me something to do! 😔

Our three family bubble Christmas also cancelled as one of them lives in Essex.  We Facetimed them and I said better to have tears over a missed meal than tears at a funeral. Pretty extreme maybe but we can hopefully have a three-family meal at Easter with crackers and table presents.Mick

Tomorrow I have to pick up the M&S order and Wednesday I have to do door drops to all family in Tier 4 😔 I’m tier 2 and not sure if that’s allowed but as I’ve had it I’m not bothered and I want the family to have the pressies, particularly the kids. I may also buy DD some more gifts.
Will only be the second Christmas in 21 years we’ve had just the three of us. We hated it last time and swore we’d never do it again 😢 Never mind, it is what is so we’ll try to make the most of it. |
