Halloween, Xmas celebrations, will be fully vaccinated by then, plus the fact we are just extremely lucky to be able to go!

So if anyone is on the MAN to SFB flight with TUI 26th Oct give me a wave and come say hello! X

Getting Excited

I for one am incredibly optimistic for many reasons I won't go into here, as I said plenty of other threads for that debate.

* We are 26/10-09/11
4 nights Bay Lake
5 nights Swan
5 nights Saratoga (but waitlisted on Animal Kingdom - Kidani)
This will be our first stay on DVC after buying in last year.

* Flights are premium with Virgin from Heathrow - Super exciting to fly Heathrow than trek to Gatwick!

* Got our tickets through ATD and park passes are all sorted.

* Car hire sorted through DFCH - luckily booked before prices went crazy

* Disney only trip with maybe a visit to Cowfish at City Walk just to peek at Universal - I do miss it but with a 4 year old I can't justify Universal tickets yet when there's not much he can do.

* Heathrow hotel and M&G parking booked

So not much left to do for us, busy planning all our ADRs just in case they bring the 60 day ADRs back closer to the original 180

I'm sorted for two weeks from 25 September. Looking forward to it but hoping that we will not have to get tested before travelling both ways. By then all adults in UK and USA will have been vaccinated, for Pete's sake!

We should have been 25th September for 3 weeks but decided to push it back a couple of months. So our trip isn't til November now but I've started planning & booking a few more things this week.

2nd November - 23rd November

- 10 nights Disney (we bought a small DVC contract last year & this is will be our first trip). Split stay at OKW, SSR & BCV.
- 3 night Disney cruise
- 2 nights Disney
- 2 nights Universal or I Drive
- 4 nights Vegas staying at the Bellagio

Still need to book hotels for the 2 nights at Disney and 2 nights at Universal. Also need to book flights from MCO to LAS. Not sure if we've picked a bad week but they seem really expensive at the moment.

We are Oct 19 - Nov 2.

Sorted:

- Separately booked Fort Lauderdale hotel with free cancellation
- Planned almost every restaurant we will be eating in
- Dog sitting sorted
- Annual leave booked

To do:
- Buy Universal APs (plan to go back Sept 2022)
- Book HHN tickets
- Book airport parking
- Set up Monzo account for spends
- Book Acoustic Brunch at HRH
- Book NBA tickets for Miami if/when released
- Get insurance (previous policy couldn’t renew as I’m awaiting some test results)

I’m very positive it will happen!
