Studio Availability July 2022
We have booked to go to Orlando for 2 weeks next July 2022
We are thinking of getting DVC rental for the first 4/5 days before moving to a condo. I understand we can’t make this booking until 11 months before. We are hoping to rent points through David’s Vacation Rentals. We are looking at Old Key West or Boardwalk or Animal Kingdom. Basically any of the Slightly cheaper ones. Does anyone know if these would be quite easy to book at 11 months? Or are studios always quite hard to find? If it is near possible we may think of plan B. |

You should be fine with a studio at any of those, as long as you don't need the cheapest studio. Old Key West should be fine. At Animal Kingdom budget for a standard studio. The value studios are far too hard to get. At Boardwalk I believe the standard view go quicker than the boardwalk view so I'm not entirely sure of your chances but you should be ok if you get your request it before the 11 month point, or budget for boardwalk or pool view rather than standard.

Thank you very much for your reply. That sounds promising. Roll on August so we can hopefully make a booking

If you want BWV get someone who owns there to book at 11 month window. OKW and AKL you should be ok with but I wouldn't take the chance leaving it later as alot of resorts are getting harder to book

If you're flexible with dates then consider checking into a DVC room on a Sunday for 5-days or a Monday if it's only 4-days, as a Friday and Saturday requires an extra 4-points per night over the Sun-Thur's nights.
So if you included both a Fri and Sat night then through David's that will cost you $152 more than just booking the weekday nights. And agree with skelfbsfb if BWV is your first choice, especially if it's a standard or BWV view. If it's the garden or pool view studio then you could possibly wait but book before the 7-month window opens up. Good luck with your planning. |
