Wanted to love it and thought it started really well but got a bit bored in places if I'm honest

It was OK but too many things unexplained and honestly the daughter/rescue subplot could have been left out and really wouldn't have altered the film much.

Also for some reason if you watch in 4k then dead pixels show on the screen for most of the film's dark scenes which is really off-putting.

In the Zombie mood so settled on World War Z which I haven't seen in years. Very mixed reviews on release but in my opinion wipes the floor with Army Of The Dead

We watched it yesterday, thought it was ok but nothing special!

I watched it last night on my own so it was a bit scary.
I did enjoy it especially for a Netflix movie which is in a lower budget than a blockbuster movie. I was frustrated with the ending though 😣

we watched it on friday night and REALLY enjoyed it.

my only wish was that they would have had more of a "fear and loathing with zombies" scene that is just pure ultraviolence in a powered up casino main floor. the opening scene gave you that kind of vibe, why not make more out of it than spending all their time in the corridor where the safe was?

and there should have been more vegas character zombies. they could have done a whole scene of just elvis zombies!

apart from the king and queen, the only other zombie that really gets any coverage was asshat dude

overall though, a solid 8/10
