Storing luggage at Port Canaveral
We’ve booked next year on the Disney Wish!🥳
We’d love to do KSC when we disembark the cruise but wondering where we can keep our luggage? Has anyone did this before? Thank you 😊

You should be fine leaving your luggage in the car when visiting KSC.
It's one of the most secure places - there is security just to get onto the property, then security at the car park. If the guards don't catch any thieves the gators will get the rest ;-) |

We left ours in the car. Just make sure you carry any valuables and your documentation on you.

We hadn’t intended to get a car as we’ve never had one before in Florida! We were just gonna get the cruise transportation, maybe a car would be a better idea? I don’t drive so I’ll maybe have to try & convince hubby!

We would love to do KSC & then back to Orlando for 4 nights in Cabana bay. We were gonna do this part after our week at POP century , but the cruise worked out better to do after WDW!

I’d say a car would definitely be your best option then.
I had a quick search and couldn’t find details of left luggage facilities at the port. I’d be surprised if KSC had that kind of storage available. If you wanted to use transfers to and from the port I think you’d have trouble booking a late return to Orlando as all ships dock early and the transfers leave pretty quickly. You’d have to get an Uber or private transfer maybe. If you could find somewhere to store you luggage you’d be better going from KSC to Orlando and not returning to the port. |

There isn't any transportation from the ship to KSC.
The KSC shore excursion listed on the port adventures is for passengers from New York on 7 or 8 day itineraries that drop into Port Canaval and leave their luggage on the ship. If you are going to KSC an Uber is going to cost about $50. Add another Uber from KSC to Orlando and that's another $50 (at least). Much better to hire a one way car from the ship, drive to KSC then drive to Universal when you're done. I'd look at the cost o having the car until you fly home, so you can drive to the airport in it too. Car hire prices are scary at the moment, if you want to get an idea how much they will be then look at May 2022 dates rather than Sept 2021 (there is a lack of cars at the moment, so prices are sky high). |

Thanks both. I’ll have to look into the car, hubby has never driven in Florida before so it’s gonna take a lot of persuasion! Wish me luck!😆
ETA if that fails we could stay over in a hotel in that area? Would that work then Uber/lyft back the next day? Where would you recommend?
