Virgin Flight 27th July ?

We have a flight from Manchester booked for 27th July, this was an original booking made 4th March 2020 (so the oldest re-book policy) for flights last year that we had to make into an open ended ticket, which we re-booked for this year.

If by some chance its green and no quarantine either end than we will fly but how late can we leave it before we make the choice to cancel? I have tried contacting VA but lines ring out, no one responds to texts and ive scoured the we that says 3 weeks (before your virgin holiday) but this is flights only, so is this the same ? and need to cancel around the 4th July ?

Have you tried sending them a DM on twitter? even during their busiest times i use to get a response in around 10 minutes.

VA told me you can cancel flight only 24 hours before the flight. 3 weeks is for holidays.
