Out of interest how could you prove you don't have a social media presence?

It’s compulsory, last time two years ago I applied it was voluntary.

Blooming heck I've just done ours, it's worse than a job application. It's a much longer form than i remember completing previously.

No one has ever reported being denied entry because they didn't add social media...

I have no intention of adding anything when we re-apply.

Maybe not on here but it has happened (and been reported in the media and on social media), so why risk it? Unless you have something to hide of course.

Its not like before where you were given a choice, this time you are declaring to a federal agency you do not have any social media accounts. So essentially lying rather than just not disclosing.

I can find loads of people being denied due what friends have put on their social media accounts or what they put on them but none for not declaring it.. If you have examples could you please share.

It isn't just a matter of leaving it out. You have to explicitly say you don't have any. So it would be a blatant lie.

I don’t understand why people have an issue putting down there details to any social media accounts ? If it’s a mandatory question then you have to fill it in
