[QUOTE=DonnaD;14260173]I would think most people would vote for Hagrid's, FOP, Rise of the Resistance or one of the big roller coasters. Spiderman isn't something I would want to go on more than once in a day. I am sure the OP's son would love it if he is a fan though./QUOTE]
Sorry, yes, I should've added "imo". It wasn't meant to be taken literally |

I would definitely do IOA Marvel Island and the Character dinner- my husband loved it, all the characters were amazing at interacting- Spiderman was fun he sat at our table for ages, the others are fab too there is Wolverine, Captain America, Rogue and Storm, plus you can meet Green Goblin, Doctor Doom and Cyclops during the day in the park, we even reported to Universal how amazing they all were

The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man has been superseded by other, more recent rides like FOP and RotR. But from 1999 until 2009 it was voted the Best Dark Ride in the world (not just Orlando) for 10 years running.
So if you'd asked just over 10 years ago what the best ride in Orlando was, most people would have said the Spider-Man ride. It's still my favourite ride in the world. I have ridden it several times in a day. And Marvel Island is still my favourite land, mainly because it's based on '90s Marvel comicbooks and cartoons, rather than the more recent movies (which, admittedly, I also love). Still, even if there's not enough in Marvel Island to fill a whole day - and I agree there isn't - there's plenty more to see and do in IOA. Whether it's worth paying for a 1 day ticket to visit it is another thing, but that's a query applicable to any park in Orlando.
