Week after Easter
We’re due to go the week after the Easter holidays. I know Easter is busy but wondering what it’s like the week after the Easter hols? Is there still a busy hangover or does it drop off?

I went the week after Easter in 2015. It was super busy all the way until the weekend after, I remember that the crowd predictions all got adjusted to a 10/10 for most of the days I was there. I think it might have gotten a bit less busy after the weekend after Easter.
The upside though was that the parks were open early and stayed open until late, and I got to experience the beauty that was 1-3am EMH at MK (one of the best experiences ever, similar to Disney After Hours). That being said I'm not sure if Disney has as late park openings anymore...

They tend to drop down the second week after, so this year the crowds are predicted to be lower the 24th onwards x

It’s usually a good idea to go once all the UK schools are back, not sure why but looking at past crowd levels that works.

We tend to go Good Friday and the 2 weeks after. If Easter is in March or first week of April, the week after is indeed manic. If Easter is mid April then the week after is less so, but still busy - the week after that is much quieter though. We found the worst day for MK was the Wednesday after Easter on more than one occasion.
But with FP and early starts we always have a blast. The weather is so much more suited to us! |

American school will have spring break anytime from the beginning of March through the first of May. Many schools have the week of Easter but others just have the same week each year. our kids had the very last week of April into May and it was crowded the first weekend but would get quieter towards the end of the week. I think we were the only state with such a late spring break.
My advice regardless of when you go is to be there before opening take an early afternoon break if needed and return to the park around dinner time. Even on Easter Day, we were able to get several rides done before 10:30. My sister's family joined us after breakfast at Chef Mickey's at 10. The park was so crowded by then, they did one ride and we all left. I took the younger kids back after dinner and the parks were pretty calm. |

Most Orlando counties spring break ends c23rd March 2020. Usually makes a difference if they are back before the Easter fortnight.
