How do you do Magic Kingdom?

Travel in August, I've sorted my restaurants so next on to my fast passes, I like to be organised. Just wondering how you plan your days here? We have 2 days and an evening when we plan on staying for the fireworks and emh. Last time I did Frontierland and Adventureland on one day and the rest over the second day and emh. Do any of you have any plans that work really well ? Just wondering if I should start in Tomorrowland this time for a change! Thanks

We will start in Magic Kingdom on two days and we will also have two evenings there, including one Villain's After Hours event.

We don't do part of the park one day and part another day, we will go to every section on every visit. I take care when I am booking my three fast passes not to be criss-crossing the park though.

Thanks. When you say you do every section, as in you go on all the rides or just wander around every section? Just curious. I focused on two areas, along with the shops so we could do it well rather than be going back and fore and missing things.

I wouldn’t have the willpower to do that 😂 I love wandering around (as much as fast passes allow) and doing it all over a few days. There are some rides I could go on again and again so I like to be able to keep going back to them if I can. I guess you just have to go with what suits your party. Sticking with a few lands would certainly cut down on so much walking 😊

Magic Kingdom is not that big, you could easily walk between the two furthest apart rides in ten to fifteen minutes. So when I say I do every section, I mean I don't say to myself that I will do Fantasyland today and Tomorrowland on Tuesday (say) because they are a very short walk apart.

I would be bored to tears if I stayed in one of the Magic Kingdom lands for a whole day or half day. I do avoid criss-crossing when I book my first three fast passes because that seems sensible, but other than that, there is no need to limit yourself to one or two "lands" per visit. The entire WDW is spread out over a huge area but MK itself isn't that big really.

We book FP for 3 of the bigger rides back to back then pick up FP for the others once we’ve done that. It often means a bit of zig zagging but we don’t mind. We’ve been so often there are places we miss out and rides we may only do once the entire trip. We focus on the ones we want to do so that means spending time in all areas.

We arrive for park opening and do stand-by lines for a couple of hours. Kick in the FP+ and once those three are used we have lunch and start the one by one FP+ with more regular breaks and shop browsing. We cover the entire park on all visits. Getting from BTMRR to Space M isn’t really a big deal (unless you’re stuck because of a parade!). Cross crossing the park isn’t a major problem at all.

We do it for 2 days. 1 day we will go early, do what we can before lunch, eat, then a couple of rides & parade after lunch, then we leave. 2nd day (usually later in the holiday) we will go in for the parade at 3pm do our fast passes & any other rides we can, eat dinner, more rides etc...watch fireworks then home.

I can't do an all day & night in one...it would drive me nuts

I always have a touring plan so I just follow that. Couldn’t stay at one side of MK. Wouldn’t makes sense. I like to go on the rides that have low wait

We get a breakfast at Be Our Guest to coincide with opening so once we're done we can jump straight on 7DMT rather than using a FP on it, means we get 4 FPs really. Other than that just book FPs as normal for the bigger rides and work our way around.
