Does your flight have to be before certain time for this, ours is 9.55am and we are staying over the night before just thought might be handy

I think it applies to the flights for the next day.
I love the idea of being able to do it as we are also on the 9:55 flight. The problem with it is that the circumstances that make it viable are not really suited to us. We're staying in the premier inn, which is far enough away to make walking over unrealistic, and in order to park up to twilight checkin, you'd have to pay, so that is a significant discouragement as well. It just seems easier to keep the bags with us and do it the next morning.

Unless you're staying at Raddison I don't really see the benefit to it.

We were originally planning on doing it as there’s two of us travelling with a ten month old and a three year old so for us it would be less of a struggle in the morning but we’d still have had to check in the car seats in the morning.
After a lot of discussion we booked a night at the Radisson and will twilight check in too.

Good job I am Does make it a lot easier. Check in online, print boarding cards the day before . Drop bags then flight day no need to queue , no waiting about, straight to the Vroom. I remember the days when you had to wait in a queue of hundreds and shuffle forward at a snails pace. Even when I flew to France this year I did not even speak to a person till at the gate, Manchester having automated luggage ticketing machines!
