We're out here now, coming back today seen $2.85 as the cheapest. When we were leaving Alamo offered pre pay for $3.01 at the exit barrier.

Remember it can work the other way as well with prepay being cheaper rhan at the pumps if the price rises. Its not alot difference when you consider the actual cost of the whole holiday and it does mean you dont have to worey about finding a garage that does charge too much near rhe airport. Its not for every one though, some will benefit some won't.

Pre-pay is certainly not the rip-off it is in Europe, I prefer to fill up myself but as the cost was so reasonable to return empty I went for it and as I have said in other posts, it was lucky we did as I got totally mixed up with flight/check-in times and would have missed the flight if I had needed to fill up.

We had a mid sized SUV which had a trip computer so easy to keep an eye on the range without worrying about running out of fuel.
