13:25 Gatwick to MCO. Which plane? Confused!

Hey guys,

We are flying on Gatwick to Mco on 13:25 on the 2/8/18 but the plane overview on the BA app is confusing me. It's not the same as seatguru or ba's list of planes. The amount of rows and set up is different.

Anyone been on it? Anyone know which plane it is? Any tips for seats/ rows? We're trying to pick the best seats. Thanks.

Depends what you're looking for in a 'best seat'. Row 16 is the bulkhead/baby seats and in an ideal world you'd get 17C or 17H as they have nothing in front of them but they're not available. Row 15 forward is premium and first. Your seats aren't terrible, being that you have an aisle and you may be lucky with no one beside you in the three. Close to front means off quicker than all of those behind you and in front for immigration. FYI we had this flight end of June and there was no other plane in front of us so we were through really quickly.

Apologies for the rambling.

It’s one of the unrefurbished 777-200s, the version with 48 business class seats. SeatGuru isn’t reliable for BA, here’s a link to the seat map on a more reliable site.

Don't apologise at all! It's all vital info! Sounds like an older plane but it's a cheap ride to disney, that's all the matters. Thanks

Thank you. We are tempting to move to 17... I wonder if it's worth it.

Nothing really to be gained beyond being slightly further forward, so potentially off a bit quicker at the other end.
