Exclamation Never booking again with Thomson!

I am getting absolutely no where with Thomson so hoping someone here has booked everything through them and can help me out.

So hubbie's 14 day pass has never shown when I added the package to MDE. I queried about this over 6 months ago and was told that it was right as it only shows in Lead passenger name, which is me.

So we hit the 60 days and I'm trying to book fast passes only to get a message on both the app and website with "Invalid Park Admission
These Guests don’t have valid admission for the park or date selected. To continue, remove them from the party and their existing plans won’t change."

I checked Hubbie's MDE and to no surprise no ticket linked. Have tried till I am blue in the face to explain this to Thomson only to be told its only the Lead passenger that gets a fast pass... I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I have tried everything short of going into Thomson tomorrow and throwing a strop sitting on the floor till I get answer's. Dont know what to do as if he doesnt have a ticket in Edinburgh cant see how that will change when we get to Orlando. Thought the wedding was meant to be the stressful bit not the honeymoon!
Sorry for the long rant! Thomson is the devil!

I only had to log in with my (onsite) hotel reservation and the rest of my family were linked? DH didn't have his own separate MDE just used the same one? Are you on site and deffo 60 days out? X

Yeah deffo 60 days out and staying onsite. My worry has always been my paperwork has always only said 1 14 day pass but I have checked this 4 times with Thomson who claim its deffo booked for both of us. I dont believe this for a 2nd as I book the halloween tickets and Scotts showed on my account right away x

Ring Disney and see if they can help - at least tell you what's booked. Do you have free dining? If so ticket must be booked to qualify for that.
Thomson are awful. I'd never book a holiday with them again either.

Yeah we have the DDP plan as we are staying at AKL. The hotel shows both our names under that section it's the 14 day pass that causing the headache x

Am I right in thinking you don't have physical tickets at the moment?
To make your life easier, I would contact Disney in the first instance and then contact Thomson again. Purely because Disney are competent and must have proof of tickets purchased as per the DDP that's already been mentioned.
If necessary, I would go to the store and not leave until they sort out the ticket problems.

Edit: Although you are right to be miffed, just remember it's not necessarily the store staff's fault that you will encounter.

I had this one year after booking with kenwood .there's 5 of us but it only showed up as 4 tickets .in the end I rang Disney themselves who confirmed I had got all 5 tickets .its very stressful

Good morning Weevix

I have just done my FPs with Thomson (booked whole lot through them - my first time and also very frustrsted).

Firstly can i ask, did you log into YourParkCodes to get the 'Disney code' to enter into MDE? When I went through this procedure, as it gave me two identical codes both in my name (my daughter didn't seem to have one).

Anyhow, I then logged onto MDE and went to My Tickets. From there I chose to add the code (the one which was just generated on the YourParkCodes) and I can't remember the exact screen and what it said but it asked me something like do you wish to add these blah blah so I said yes. It then said Congratulations it's all done kind of thing. I then checked back on My Tickets and both of us were linked both in separate names.

I was then able at 60 days to choose my FPs. As far as I can remeber too (I'm trying to find the screen) I am also the lead passenger as Im the one making the bookings.

I hope I haven't rambled on. Trust me when I say you are not the only one who is totally unimpressed with Thomson - this was my first time and last time that I will book with them and I told them so. Definitely go into the shop and ask them to sort it there and then, that's what i did the other week and i wasnt leaving until my issue was rectified.

I hope you get sorted - keep us updated 🤞🤞🤞.

Never again will I buy tickets for Florida with Thomson - they have absolutely no idea about MDE - the day before we were going we were still trying to sort it out - they called WDW on each occasion I went in. We got the code but MDE wouldn't accept it. In the end we gave up and upon arrival in MK went straight to Town Hall - (in the entrance and on the left) and spoke to guest services who immediately sorted out the problem. Our tickets were in fact already linked. On the Ap your tickets should show - we had 4 and there were 4 showing.
