April!
So my family have booked to go away April 2018 and I'M SO EXCITED! I have never been in April before thought! I'm just wondering what WDW/Florida is like in April, e.g the weather, crowds, any events in Disney etc etc!
Thanks in advance! |

We're doing the same! Having our honeymoon at Disney and flying out on 19th April. Absolutely can't wait, but definitely looking for any advice we can get!

we have been august and this year we went easter, the prices was just too god to wait untill this summer to go so we moved our holiday forward.
the weather is still in its late 20s early 30s, but there is no humidity no rain, it was manageable. we loved it

We just got back last week and went in april the year before. April is far better weather wise IMO - less humid, still hot, but more manageable for walking around parks and for our DDs.
Crowds wise didn't notice a huge difference but the key for us is booking ADRs and fastpasses so that we don't need to wait in lines for the vast majority of time!

April is a total mixed bag for crowds as it depends where Easter falls. With an early Easter, April is pretty quiet. Late, it's manic.
You should be OK on the 10th as it's more than a week after Easter, I'd say moderate crowds. We're going last week of the month. It's a bit hotter than I would like (I usually travel in Jan/Feb) but schedules next year meant that was the earliest we could go. Main event for April is Epcot Flower & Garden. I am excited about that! Also it's Animal Kingdom's 20th birthday in April next year so they may do a little something to celebrate. |

We've only been once in April, the week after Easter, crowds were ok, and weather was great. The Flower & Garden festival is on at Epcot which is worth visiting.
