Mobile EE New Max plan- USA included

Hi all,
I have just upgraded my phone as old one died.
I am now on the max plan with EE and asked about unlocking my phone so I could use a different simm for USA holiday.
I was informed that the Max plan includes data/ call/ text as though I'm in the UK ( just like 3 at home)

Has Anyone used this? Feel a bit nervous about it incase I end up with a huge bill!

Yes we used it in July. Was great. Able to text each other while there and called home a few times with zero extra charges. Also able to use 4g if no wifi.

Been using it in Orlando for the last week. 95% of the time it is a strong 4g signal. Works great no problems at all.

Using it now. 4G, although not fantastic is still stronger than the park wifi. Currently getting 2.5mb down, 1mb up. Called UK and USA numbers at no extra cost.
Kids are on Three feel at home (PAYG - £20 for 30 days) and they're complaining about data speed. Having to call them using whatsapp, as regular phone calls keep failing. Even calling Three to Three often fails.

Hi
Is calling the USA an extra cost? I read it as only uk calls were included. Thanks

I've made 4/5 calls to US numbers last week and have no additional costs showing on my account. The way I understand it, calls to the UK and within your country of travel are inclusive of you allowance. Unlike Three, which is only UK to UK numbers.

If you were already on the 4GEE Max plan prior to 10 May, 2017, then you'll need to call EE and get the additional counties added (US, Mexico, Canada). It may cost a few extra £'s.
