TSA Pre/chk

I have just checked us all in online, printed of the boarding passes and my son who is 15 has got the words TSA PRE/CHK after his name, can anyone throw some light on what this entails.

We have Global Entry which includes TSA Pre check when we fly into the USA we go to a different line at immigration there's hardly ever anyone there, and when we fly out we go TSA Pre check again with a smaller line and you don't have to remove belts or shoes.

For anyone traveling to the s States often Global Entry is the way to go.

�40 for background check
$100 for Global Entry for 5 years

If this is your outbound flight (to the US), it means nothing.

If it is your flight home, he can go through fast-track security. It's completely random getting this. Some people in my party got this, some didn't, we all just went through the normal security together.

Oh that's good one less thing to worry over, Now if only i could find my prescription sunglasses.
