Just found this on the O2 Site.

Receiving calls on O2 Travel
You can receive up to 120 minutes of calls a day without charge, even if you don't trigger O2 Travel. If you do trigger O2 Travel, these received calls will come out of your 120 minute allowance.

After you've used up your 120 minute allowance, any calls you make or receive will be charged at our standard roaming rates.

In recent months I’ve switched both my and my wife’s contracts from O2 and Vodafone to 3 citing the reason that we spend quite a bit of time in the US and their roaming charges were too expensive. Both companies reps said it was a known issue so doesn’t surprise me that O2 at least are changing.

We were also considering moving from O2 as was advised via O2's customer support they had no plans to change their Travel Bolt On then noticed this change yesterday.

I have no idea if this is what I have, I'm guessing not as I have a monthly charge. Costs me £40 a month so a bummer I don't get it.

Sadly my contract is not included as your data package has to be 4g or more and mine is only 1g and I don't even use much of that. It's of course the more expensive packages which include outside Europe so I still have to pay £4.99 daily for each day of usage.
