Whatever the weather I’m prepared with my ponchos
I have never had a 10 minute shower in Florida during the rainy season. I’ve just returned and most storms lasted between 1 and 3 hours!

It didn’t rain everyday but when it did it was torrential

If it does rain I won't be bothered. Being in Disney in the rain will be far more preferable to being at work even if it's still good weather here.

I’m with you on this one. I do get frustrated at the numerous comments which say “oh it rains for 10mins/half an hour/an hour every day then it dries up”. That’s just not been our experience. It’s weather, it’s unpredictable but I’ve yet to go in September and have a daily 10 min shower. Our best year was probably 2016 in terms of weather and we got a couple of storms lasting longer than 10 minutes. 2014 we were hardly out of our ponchos for two weeks.

That's ridiculous. A 10 day forecast is even pushing things in terms of accuracy. Any half decent metrologist site will tell you that.

I have been in September many times and when we have seen bad weather coming in (maybe only 2 days all day ever) we go where the rain isn't. That's the advantage of hiring wheels. It's a vast state and lots of places where it's dry at a particular time.

In 1999 I remember watching WESH daily (first visit and knew ≈≈≈≈ all) and planning around their forecast. Absolutely pointless, all they tell you is the % of rain, but never how long.

To be fair when it rains, it's never 10 mins, but also it's hardly ever for hours.

In Florida rain can be extremely localised.

My point is there is zero point worrying about the weather. It certainly won't rain 24/7 all day every day, like i say 2 times in total have we lost days.

Its just an indication of normal Florida weather i.e rain storms on most days somewhere. Given how many times you have been - would of thought you would have known that...
I usually check these sites every time i go which is usually septmebrr and they have never predicted rain/storms everyday except for when I looked for this year.

I also said that the weather can change because obviously it's still a month out...I was just sharing my thoughts and opinions which is what you're meant to do on forums...?

The rain in Florida is so localised,we once went with friends and we were in Magic Kingdom and they were in Hollywood Studiis, they had torrential rain for an hour and we had sunshine!
