I'm looking at around mid September for 2 weeks. Direct from Glasgow. Thomas Cook airlines have premium direct for 870 per person at the moment.

Looking 18th August to 8th September for 6 people.

Happy to fly from London, Glasgow, Birmingham, etc but Manchester is the ideal.

Indirect no problem.

Happy to fly into MCO, TPA and MIA (FLL) in that order of preference.

Also 25th August to 8th September for 3 more people looking to join us for the last two weeks. This needs to be manchester to either mco or tampa but indirect is OK.

We got just over £300 a head into MIA from Gatwick for 3 weeks last year around the same times in one of the BA sales. Indirect on the ay out via Dublin and direct back.

Subscribed!

Well I have bitten the bullet and have booked the Virgin flights through Charter Travel. If you take the price off for car hire if it was booked separately the flights come in at just under £600 each. Very pleased with that as last year we went a week earlier and it cost us £1000 each with no car hire. Total price all in is £2195 flying 25th August for 2 weeks from Manchester direct. I am now NOT going to look at any other flight prices

I know technically it's ages but all this talk of £1000 flights is making me nervous £600 is a great price ... still way out of my budget... maybe I am wishing for something that is unrealistic... but I won't give up yet
