My husband has injured his sciatic joint in his back. He’s been given the all clear to travel but we didn’t know if we had to declare his medication. He is currently on naproxen, zapain and laprenzole do we need any paperwork?

That’s what I thought we’d need to do but wasn’t sure

I am on naproxen, lansoprazole, migraine tablets and 2 lots of blood pressure tablets.

I have them all in my carry on case in their original boxes. Never been questioned on them and I also don't take a copy prescription.

However we all must make a decision what is best for us. Nothing wrong with taking a copy prescription but I don't

I was on naproxen and stronger co codamol when I travelled and no one questioned but with codiene being a controlled drug I’d ask for a copy of the prescription at least although according to us customs they are looking for a doctors note

You don't need prescription but labeled containers. Naproxen is OTC here.

I travel with my meds in a weekly pill box. I can bring up prescription info on my cell if needed. Only problem I ever had was when I put testing kit in checked luggage and I went to Houston and my luggage went to Cleveland. DDin law is a doctor and had her own testing kit at the house. Jet Blue compensated me for a day and night's clothing as well as I think $50.
