We’ve just started looking at August 2020. Really enjoyed reading all the tips on here when planning our ‘once in a lifetime’ trip in 2016 and there’ll be so much new stuff by the time we go. Exciting times

Planning is one of the most enjoyable parts of a trip to Florida. We've already booked our villa for August 2020 as we've always found the best villas are now booking up 2 years in advance, especially in school holidays when we have to go.

A couple of the dibb villas we wanted for August 2020 are booked already so no it's not too early if you want a specific villa

We are also looking at returning August 2020 - don't want to get too excited though incase something happens and we can't go (thats my negative side thinking). Really wanting to be able to book everything now but I know obviously we can't as its too early. I can still look though.

It's never too early to plan!

Think we're thinking of September/October time 2020 as DH's visa expires October 2020..

It's not too early. We're going June 2020 and we've booked villa as it's one we've used before.
I have been doing a daily check on flight prices for next June to see if there is any fluctuation in price ( and have found a slight drop after a couple of days after release with VA) so know best time to book for 2020
Doing the same with car hire to see if that changes too.

We are already booked for next August and planning to go in Feb 2020 so that we can be there for the Disney Princess Half Marathon weekend. Plus have a Disney cruise planned for 2020 in October. It’s my 50th in 2020 so need to celebrate in style I know we can’t really book either until about April/May next year when the free dining is released (hopefully) and the cruises will be out but it feels like such a long wait!

Never too early. We’re planning to go back either summer 2021 or 2022 and I’m already starting to gather ideas. Planning’s a huge part of the fun and anticipation for me.
